GeeksOnTime was founded by Venus McNabb, in 1999 as a locally based Phoenix Arizona
computer service group.
The company was always structured for national coverage and initiated
that expansion into California within the first 8 months of business.
GeeksOnTime now operates in all 50 states and maintains more than 1200
technicians, network administrators and helpdesk service managers
providing service to small businesses, nationwide, multi location clientele
and residential clients. The company's record of service is
unmatched in the computer service industry gaining praise from homeowners,
small businesses, and nationwide service organizations.
Venus' inspiration for GeeksOnTime came from her own personal experience
operating a successful home based Internet business. When her computer
broke down, it was the lifeblood of her business. She was living in
Ontario Canada at the time and her only available option was to carry her
desktop machine on a bus to a service center. The experience proved to be
not only time consuming but costly. She vowed that there had to be a
better way to provide computer service. Venus conceived of GeeksOnTime as a
people friendly and professional quality service delivering fast,
quality technical
support to every corner of North America. That dream has become a
reality and has expanded beyond its initial vision. GeeksOnTime not only
provides onsite support, but helpdesk assistance, and even IT
Managed Subscription Services for Small Businesses and
Outsourced Project Management services to enterprises across the
United States and Canada.
Even without promotion, Venus' entrepreneurial success story has already been profiled by publications who have discovered her rise.
She was selected as one of the top 12
Entrepreneurs under 35 for 2003 by Biz AZ magazine and in 2004, Venus was
honored as Best Young Entrepreneur by The American Business
Awards (The Stevies). She was also selected to be invited for membership
in the International Society of Who's Who, one of only 30 people out of 30,000 worldwide submissions to be so honored.
In 2005 she was select by Good Morning America as one of 5 Women
Entrepreneurs profiled for its woman owned business profiles.
Venus is very proud to say that she operated GeeksOnTime as a home based
business during its incubation and considers Phoenix her founding home base. She is
