Step 1: Create a User Account

You can set your own main account, create unlimited sub accounts (for employees or family members) and access any files you store there from any Windows based computer anywhere in the world and only you have the key to it. During this account setup, you will be asked to establish a password. This is one part of your security setup along with Step 3.

 Step 2: Initiate Software Installation    

Download and install the GOT Online Backup software agent. After creating your free trial account, simply click download and then run the application's installation procedure. No restart of your computer will be required for installation.

You can either leave the machine on with your monitor turned off, or leave it in sleep mode. If it is in sleep mode, your online backup service agent will "wake up" the machine for its brief backup.

Step 6: Let the Backups Roll!   

Once your online account has a complete the first version of the files and has a schedule to followup on, your backup system is ready for automated (or on demand) backups. They will run very fast as each backup job compares changes since the last backup and only spends time backing up those changes.
